  11. My sister has an A3000/25 running Wb 2.1, 2 Mb CHIP, 8 Mb FAST,
  12. and an A1960 monitor.
  13.  
  14. She has been experiencing an intermittant problem with
  15. horizontal lines appearing across the screen. The lines are
  16. usually multicolored and can be either dashed or solid
  17. lines. The problem seems to occur mostly when the system is
  18. first turned on. It usually decreases in intensity as the computer
  19. is being used, but doesn't go totally away.

  21. One time she printed a document from Final Writer 4 while
  22. the lines were present. The lines printed on the paper as
  23. they appeared on the screen!
  24.  
  25. At times, the pulldown menues will leave artifacts behind
  26. after opening and closing them.
  27.  
  28. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the possible cause of
  29. this problem? As I stated earlier, it doesn't happen all the
  30. time, but when it is at its worse the screen is barely
  31. readable.
